2. About This Platform
Bahrain Blood Donor Network is a voluntary, non-commercial coordination platform operated by MSS Technology Company W.L.L (CR 182156-1), registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We connect blood donors with hospitals. We are not a healthcare provider, medical service, blood bank, or hospital. We do not store, transport, or handle blood products.
3. Eligibility to Register
You must be 18 years of age or older to register a donor account. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and current, and that you will update it promptly if your circumstances change.
4. Donor Obligations
As a registered donor you agree to: provide truthful and current information about your health status and eligibility; respond to urgent donation requests promptly when medically able; update your profile if your health or eligibility changes; attend confirmed donation appointments; and not misrepresent your blood group, health status, or donation history.
5. Blood Request Obligations
By submitting a blood request, you confirm that the patient details are accurate, the request is genuine and medically necessary, you are authorised to submit on behalf of the patient or their family, and you will notify us promptly if the request is fulfilled or no longer needed.
6. No Medical Advice
Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation. Information about blood types, eligibility criteria, and donation procedures is provided for general informational purposes only. All medical decisions — including final donor eligibility — are made exclusively by the Central Blood Bank of Bahrain or the relevant hospital's medical team at the time of donation.
7. Voluntary Nature of Service
Blood donation through this platform is entirely voluntary. No registered donor is obligated to respond to any request. No recipient is guaranteed a matching donor. Bahrain Blood Donor Network makes no warranty that a donor will be found within any specific timeframe.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You must not: submit false or fraudulent blood requests; use the platform for any commercial purpose; attempt to access administrative areas without authorisation; harvest or scrape user data; interfere with the platform's operation or security; or use the service in any way that violates the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, logos, and trademarks are owned by or licensed to MSS Technology Company W.L.L unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of this platform without prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bahrain Blood Donor Network and MSS Technology Company W.L.L shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this platform — including failure to find or match a donor within a required timeframe.
11. Data Protection
Your use of this platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these terms by reference. We process personal data in accordance with Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018).
12. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, submit false information, engage in prohibited conduct, or behave in a manner harmful to the platform, its users, or the public interest.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
